A really sensational Bavarian inn that is worth a visit at any time. We were here today for the parish fair and will definitely come back again. Handcrafted, solid dishes that have nothing to complain about and are rounded off by the range of cakes and tarts. The location is unique (right on the lake). But the icing on the cake is the friendly and courteous staff. At the end the boss gave us a nightcap himself. What more do you want?

Just awesome this restaurant with this ingenious view of the lake. Highly recommend the roasted onion with Kasspatzle and the fresh roasted onions. A big highlight was the dark shandy with the König Ludwig beer. The staff was very nice and attentive. In short, if you have been there once, we will definitely come a second and third time.

The restaurant is first class, not cheap, but worth the price. The ambience is very cozy with a slightly classy touch. Open on Mondays, that makes voting on Monday easy. The service is fast and very friendly, a bit familiar, I like that.

Basically a very nice place to end a day at the Ammersee. However, we were immensely disappointed with the promises on the website of an evening program with brass music on September 12, 2020. The replacement for this was chosen completely carelessly and inappropriately, since it was jazz. It is understandable that it is difficult to find a replacement at short notice, but according to the staff this was known two weeks in advance. Our costume excursion therefore ended quickly.

The old villa is always worth a visit. Whether with or without musical entertainment, our favorite beer garden on Lake Ammer. Also ideal for families with children who can let off steam in the playground and the large sunbathing area.

Wonderful beer garden. It has everything you need, enough space, a playground and a snack or hot meal. We were here for breakfast and can fully recommend him. A little hint, the Alte Villa has two bars on the one hand a somewhat more chic restaurant and on the other hand the beer garden with self-service. The mountain rating refers to the beer garden.

Here you are still welcomed as a guest with a dog and not sent away like at Lenas am See. We were a group of 6 people with a dog and wanted to have lunch after we were sent away at Lenas am See, we first asked at the old villa if we could enter. The friendly waiter said of course. Brought us to a table with a magnificent view of the Ammersee. See pictures. When the waiter who brought the menus he had a bowl of water for our dog. Service here already full marks. In addition to schnizel, roast beef, liver, the menu also includes a good fish menu. My choice was a game fish with potato salad. The fish was very good 👍. Since I'm not a fan of potato salad, I was surprised here. Very tasty potato salad. My wife's choice fell on the schnitzel Wiener Art and a side salad. Both were very good and plentiful. Price and performance are in perfect harmony here. When we visit the Ammersee again, we will return to the old villa. Thank you for the great time in your restaurant. Clear recommendation to visit.

Idyllic location. Small but balanced menu with acceptable prices. The food was delicious and the onion roast was phenomenally good. The service was friendly, attentive and served us perfectly. Great praise.

Stylish building with a direct view of the Ammersee. The food was delicious and the prices are fair. The beer was delicious and my calf's liver was a poem. And the goulash was delicious. I can only recommend one visit to everyone.

Best place to relax. We have been coming here on vacation for years. From the park a short walk to the villa. Relax and eat and drink. The prices for food and drinks are good. The waiting time is also not long in the beer garden. Sometimes it can be busy but you can expect that with good weather.

Lovely surroundings facing the Amersee Lake. Great place to enjoy a good time with friends. My Coca Cola was the best I've ever tried in Germany: super cold and with plenty of ice! A variety of local specialities makes for a very especial menu.

Very good bavarian food. The location is close to the Ammersee so you have a nice view if you sit on the patio. Service could be better, though.

Exceptionally beautiful place in good weather. Good food, although the menu is not large. It is self service. Very silent, view of the lake and swimming opportunity close.
